Delivery Methods

Here at Sound Centre we use a variety of shipping methods to help make sure you can get the gear you want delivered right to your door!

We offer delivery via Australia Post's excellent eParcel service which offers a great range of shipping choices for your convenience like after hours post office collection, delivery address changes and more.

For larger bulkier items, we make use of Toll IPEC's Road Express service or the Sendle oversize service to ensure that you receive your order safely and securely.

We also offer personal delivery on certain items within the Perth Metro area with our friendly team in our very own van!

Availability ✔️ ❌

On our products you will see some items as being available both In-Store and Online.

In-Store: The item is currently In stock at Sound Centre Morley and your online order will be shipped to you directly from the store ASAP. You can also come to the store to see and play the item (guitars and digital pianos are a great example!) and get some expert advice from one of our friendly team - so pop on in, we'd love to see you!

Online: The item is not in our Morley store but it is available to order NOW and in stock at our suppliers warehouse! Your online order will be shipped directly to you from that warehouse. If you choose "pickup" on a warehouse ordered item, we will notify you when it has arrived at our store and is ready for collection.
*PLEASE NOTE: *PLEASE NOTE: Online orders shipped from a third party warehouse in most cases experience shipment delays of up to 7-14 business days. Please take this into account when ordering. Please also note it can sometimes take up to 7 days for you to receive tracking information.

Free Shipping Australia Wide



We offer free standard shipping via Australia Post's eParcel service on orders over $250 across a massive range of our catalogue to every corner of Australia!

And if you need it fast, we also offer Australia Post's express eParcel air freight service option for a fee on these items as well.

Check for the FREE SHIPPING icon on a product to see if free shipping applies to that product, or by adding to cart items over the value of $250, free shipping will apply in your cart.




ITEMS THAT DO NOT FREE SHIP

Due to weight, price, bulkiness, availabilty and a wide range of other factors, we have items in our catalogue that do not free ship at all to any location.

You will see a shipping charge applied on these items no matter your postcode. Please also note shipping charges will apply on those items even if the total value of your order exceeds $250.

Shipping Australia Wide - Large, Bulky & Heavy Items



On some products you will see a FREE SHIPPING PERTH METRO icon and heavy item indicator (KG). These icons show on larger, bulkier and heavy items. With these products we are able to offer FREE SHIPPING & DELIVERY WITHIN THE PERTH METRO AREA and we also offer very competitive rates on our larger, heavy items to every corner of Australia.

Just add the item to your cart, enter your postcode in the pop-up estimator and you will be shown either free shipping or your applicable shipping charge. These items ship using Toll IPEC.


PERTH METRO AREA

Is defined as from Joondalup, down to Rockingham and out to the hills. Call or message us for more info.

Australia Post eParcel

We use Australia Post's excellent eParcel service for all of our regular sized shipments. With full tracking, an express option, insurance and a great range of collection options for you to choose, they offer the best service in Australia for getting that gear to you!

Australia Post Shipping Times

*Shipping constraints: Australia Post has item size restrictions. Items must be under 22kg weight and not exceed specific lengths on any one side to be shipped with Australia Post services. Toll IPEC have no restrictions and we use them to deliver large & bulky items.

Toll IPEC

We use Toll IPEC to ship large, bulky and heavy items. They are the best option when you need to ship something like a 100kg digital piano across Australia. Bulky & heavy is their specialty.

All Toll IPEC shipments are fully tracked & insured.

There is no express option available with this service, nor can they be shipped to P.O boxes. They must go to a home or business address.

Toll IPEC’s shipping times can change dramatically due to circumstances like weather, covid and the like. As a rough estimate of delivery times on large, heavy and bulky orders - anywhere in W.A is normally 1-2 days (99% of the time usually next day) and S.A, NT, TAS and east coast locations can take anywhere from 3-6 business days (capitals) up to 7-12 business days (regionals).

SOUND CENTRE DELIVERY

Our Sound Centre team can deliver directly to your door at a time convenient to you! We will contact you directly to arrange this service.




SOUND CENTRE SPECIAL - IN HOME DELIVERY & SETUP SERVICE

On a select range of our digital pianos we offer a specialised additional service that includes free setup and assembly of your new piano in your home or workplace, a guided walkthrough of your new instrument by one of our digital piano team experts and all packaging and rubbish removal! (Normally $75)

*This offer is available in the Perth Metro area only. If this service applies on the item you have ordered and is available to your postcode, you will be able to choose this option at checkout.

In Store Pickup

Are you local and would prefer to click & collect your order? That's cool, It would be great to see you!

Feel free to select In Store Pickup during the shipping section of our checkout and we'll let you know when your order is ready for collection at the store.

Please note: We ask that the person who collect the order to have photo ID and the payment method used (the credit card for example) available with them to show our staff during collection if requested. In the event where there can only be collection by another party for an order, we reserve the right to ask that person collecting the order to show us a copy of their Photo ID (drivers licence/passport for example) before releasing the goods. We do not allow external courier companies or any unidentified persons to collect items from our store under any circumstances.

Shipping On Orders Under $250

If your order is under $250, we offer well priced standard and express shipping options via Australia Post eParcel.

When adding multiple items each valued under $250, once the total cart exceeds $250 you will receive free shipping.

Items that do not Free Ship

Due to weight, price, bulkiness, availabilty and a wide range of other factors, we sometimes have items available in our catalogue that do not free ship at all to any location.

You will see a shipping charge applied on these items no matter your postcode. Please also note shipping charges will apply on those items even if the total value of your order exceeds $250.

Express Delivery

Need it faster!? We offer express shipping on a wide range of items to every corner of Australia via Priority eParcel Australia Post.

If this option is available on your item you'll be able to select that option during checkout.

P.O Boxes

We are happy to send your order to an Australia Post P.O Box address. This includes Australia Post priority orders as well.

PLEASE NOTE - Large bulky items that must be sent via TOLL IPEC cannot be sent to P.O BOXES. We will advise you if this is the case and will require a street address under those circumstances.

Authority To Leave

You may wish to advise 'Authority To Leave' (ATL) on your order in the comments section to us if you are comfortable with your goods being left for example in your letterbox or a safe area by your door if nobody is present when an attempt to deliver is made by our shipping partners.

Since Covid 19, most delivery companies will operate this way by default if it is safe to leave an item at your home, or they will leave a card. Please request this in the “notes” area of your order and we will advise our shipping partners. Please note that if you advise Authority To Leave, Sound Centre cannot be held accountable for any loss of goods after delivery to your premises.

Abandoned Deliveries:

Any shipment not received by you as a Sound Centre online customer after your order has been shipped that is left uncollected at either a TOLL depot or Australia Post collection point for a considerable amount of time ( we as Sound Centre define that to be over 12 business days from the date the item was available for you to collect) will be deemed as abandoned.

If after multiple repeated attempts to contact you by either Australia Post, Toll or the Sound Centre and in the event that we do not receive correspondence from you via email, telephone or through our websites messaging service, we reserve the right to have the goods returned to us and to pass on to you any storage and re-delivery charges that we may have incurred. If you are having any sort of difficulty collecting your item due to personal circumstances (that is not related to TOLL or Australia Post’s delivery service) please contact us via phone or email and we will be able to assist you.

Damage during shipping

In the rare event of any shipping damage please contact us immediately - your item is fully insured against any form of shipping damage and we need to get this sorted for you ASAP.

Take some photos of the damage and keep them on your phone. Then call/email/message us immediately. We have shipped thousands of fragile items and it is (amazingly!) very rare for an item to be damaged in transit in Australia. If this has unfortuantely happened to you fear not - we are here and we will get it sorted out for you.

Delivery Times

Our goal is to have your order with you as soon as possible.

We will strive to have your order sent out the same day when ordered Monday to Friday, however please note that dispatch can sometimes take up to 1 - 2 business days.

Please also note that if your order requires involved preparation (eg. a guitar setup or custom boxing for a large order), this may require 1-2 business days to perform.

If we believe that there may be a delay on your order being shipped, we will be in touch as soon as possible to advise you of this.

Shipping times estimates are below depending on your location from us here in Perth or from our external suppliers on the east coast and which shipping method you have chosen.

Please note that once your item has been dispatched, shipping times are out of our control, especially during peak shipping periods and there have been well reported shipping delays across Australia due to Covid 19 restrictions and Australia's weather issues, such as flooding or fires.

REFUNDS & RETURNS:

If your purchased item is faulty or damaged when you receive it or different to that depicted or described to you when ordering or not functioning as intended we will offer a refund, repair, exchange or store credit as applicable.

In the rare event of this happening please call or message/email us with your name and order number and we will assist you until the problem is resolved.

With the exception of warranty claims, return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the goods.

We will arrange any shipping return back to us free of charge in the event of errors or faults (we will send you shipping paperwork that you can print and affix to your shipment)

REFUNDS FOR CHANGE OF MIND - CHOOSE CAREFULLY!

We do not offer refunds because of change of mind with order selection under any circumstances on any online orders. We may offer EXCHANGE on another item of equal value - call us to discuss.

In the event of shipping returns with any form of exchange - you will need to pay all return fees and charges.

NON RETURNABLE ITEMS Some items are strictly non-returnable. This includes but is not limited to: software, print music, DVDs, harmonicas etc.

International Shipping

Sound Centre does not offer shipping or sales outside of Australia.
