Violin Outfit:
Purchasing a Violin Outfit is very important. What this means is you are getting a complete kit, and not just a violin on its own. An outfit includes a violin, a case and a bow - everything you need to get up and running.
Adjustable Tailpiece:
The tailpiece is the part that secures the strings at the bottom of the violin. An adjustable tailpiece has small dials which make fine adjustments to the tuning. These allow the violin to be precisely in tune.
Solid Timber:
Violins like most instruments can be made from either laminated woods or solid timber. A Violin with a solid timber construction means each part of the violin is made from a single, solid piece of timber. This gives a more solid construction and provides a more rounded and warm tone.
